yeLLowstone!

today was so fun! yellowstone is sooooo beautiful! i can’t believe that i’ve never taken the time to go before. it was nice to take time to get out of rexburg and to get to know marc and jeff better. it’s nice to make new friends. anyways, the drive up there was beautiful- the weather and scenery were perfect. we saw a bald eagle, about a MILLION bison, and a deer. we pulled over and looked at these beautiful geysers! jeff said, “just in case any bison come towards us, don’t run or they’ll charge.” so of course, within five minutes of us stopping, a herd of bison came and charged towards us. being the scardy cat that i am, i bolted and ran as fast as i could and jumped behind sam, haha. of course i was the only one that got scared and ran. i don’t think i’m ever going to hear the end of it. THEN, within the next five minutes, marc pretends to push me into a gyser i was being careful to not fall in to. my vocal cords still hurt from screaming so loud. sheesh. then, we went to “old faithful” (which we missed by 15 minutes), and we saw the most beautiful hotel i’ve ever seen in my life in the middle of nowhere. the drive back, we got pictures of each other sleeping, and got the BEST ice-cream at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. it was such an amazing experience, and such a beautiful day! =]
